Monywa District, Sagaing Davision (4days/3nights) |
Route: Just over an hour's flight from Yangon to Mandalay and then 4 hours drive to Monywa.
Across the Chindwin River at Nyaungbingyi by Barge/Boat and one hour drive to Yinmabin.
Proceed to Kabai camp for 2 hours drive and 3 hours off-road drive into the park.
Time: November to March is the open season that will suit Tourists fine.
Travel on elephant back riding for off-road 20 miles in rainy season is recommended only for scientists and researchers.
Sightseeing by elephant riding and trekking to observe the mountainous areas and reserved forests, in which abundance of varied wildlife and bird species.

Meinmahla Kyun Wildlife Sanctuary (MWS)
Bogalay Township, Ayeyarwaddy Division. (4days/3nights)
5 hours drive by car from Yangon to Bogalay & then by boat along big river & streams to MWS.
November to March is the opening season for Tourists.
Mangrove Forest of MWS is one of the most important crocodile habitats in Myanmar.
