Moeyingyi Wetland Wildlife Sanctuary
 Moeyingyi Wetland Wildlife Sanctuary is located in Pyinbongyi
village, in Bago Township of Bago Division and 71-mile distance
from Yangon and can be reached more or less 2-hour drive (by
car). It is situated on the 6 furlong right-side of
Yangon-Mandalay high-way road.
The area of Moeyingyi Wetland Wildlife Sanctuary is 40
square-miles and the depth of the lake in raining season is over
9 feet.
There is a hotel to relax with care-free for the travelers. In
addition, doing research, bird-watching observation, boat-rowing
exploring , studying insects and so forth are performed.
Studying natural shallow water eco-system and nature
photographic tours are able to arrange in the pleasant Moeyingyi
Lake. Nevertheless visitors can observe water bird species,
shore bird species, migratory birds among wild grasses, lotus,
over (20) grass species and rare birds in paddy field. One can
take a record to the birds flying and resting in the lake.
Free birds can be studied by binoculars from the watch houses on
the lake.
One can study (58) island bird species, (66) migratory bird
species, (26) butterfly species, (26) natural water grasses and
weeds as well as various fish species in the lake. Angling will
