Yangon- Thanlyin - Twante - Bago - Yangon
Day 1 Yangon ( Arrival )

Arrive at Yangon International Airport, pick up by our company representative.
After check in hotel, take your time free. Upon to your arrival time at Yangon, you can make half day sightseeing in the town or take a rest at your hotel to refresh for your great tip in Myanmar. Dinner and one night stay at a hotel in Yangon will serve you pleasure.

 


 

Day 2. Yangon

In the morning, we will visit Shwedagon Pagoda, over 2500-year-old gigantic golden stupa in Yangon. It is the holiest place of the Buddhist people and land mark of the country. After that, we observe morning fish market and colorful Thirimingalar Vegetable Market, the biggest vegetable market in Myanmar. We can see many different kinds of fishes, vegetables and fruits from all over the country there. And then, we visit over 2000-year old Sule pagoda, historical Botahtaung pagoda, Yangon river site and Strand Hotel, one of the most famous historic colonial buildings in Asia. After lunch at a restaurant, we proceed to the biggest Chaukhtetgyi reclining Buddha statue and Ngahtetgyi sitting Buddha image. In the evening, we stroll around in the downtown and visit China-town to see real lifestyle of the people in Yangon.
 

Day 3. Yangon ~ Thanlyin ~ Twntae ~ Yangon

After breakfast, we will discover Thanlyin, a small town once conquered by the Portuguese people in early 19th century. It is on the other side of Yangon river. On the way, sightseeing at over 2000-year old Kyikekhauk pagoda, the highest golden stupa in Thanlyin. We take a short boat trip to Yelel Pagoda, a long histories pagoda on a small island. After lunch, back to Yangon and take a ferry boat to Twantae, the earliest pottery town in Myanmar. We visit pottery villages and have a look how they make many different patterns and sizes of water ports, jars, cups, flower jars and many clay products. On the way back to Yangon, enjoy the sunset on boat.

 

Day 4. Yangon ~ Bago ~ Yangon

On this day, tour highlights are many Mon ancient monuments in Bago, which is 60 km from Yangon for one hour driving. It includes Kyikepun four faces Pagoda, Mon weaving villages, Kyatkhatwine Buddhist monastery, Shwetharlyaung reclining Buddha image, and Shwemawdaw pagoda. After lunch, we visit golden Kanbawzathardi Palace of King Bayintnaung and Hinthargone hill, which is the highest place of the region and sources of Bago. In the evening, we drive back to Yangon and enjoy the sunset on the highway.

 

Day 5.Yangon (Departure)

After leisure morning, we will pick you up at your hotel to Yangon International Airport for your onward departure flight. It will be the end of your great experience on the wonderful trip with Travel Expert.
