Opportunity to observe our Shwe Thamin (or) Brow-antlered Deer
Route: only over an hour's flight from Yangon to Mandalay and then 7 hours drive by car to CWS.
February to May is the best season for field observation of "Thamin (or) Brow-antlered deer (Cervus eldi thamin).
Visitors can observe behavior of Thamin groups in nature at CWS which is having the largest population of Thamin all over the world.

How to get there: From Bagan -7 hours drive to Kanpetlet by ordinary jeep car.
Where to stay: "Mountain Oasis Resort"
When to visit: October to March
What to see: Trekking by car to the top of the Mountain is 3.75 miles only. Visitor can observe hill-tribes, pine forests, rhododendrons and wild orchids and enjoy bird watching.
Note: One and a half month duration before your arrival to Yangon will be required to seek travel permission.
